Trifecta Collective, an independent show organizer, has acquired the Medical Spa Show (MSS) from the American Med Spa Association (AmSpa). Under a long-term strategic partnership, Trifecta will assume ownership and management of the event, while AmSpa will remain involved through its educational programming, member network and industry expertise.
Now in its 10th year, the Medical Spa Show focuses exclusively on the medical aesthetics industry. Since its launch, the show has drawn nearly 10,000 participants representing more than 5,200 practices and over 750 exhibiting brands. The 2027 edition is scheduled for April 15-18 at Wynn Las Vegas and is expected to attract more than 3,500 professionals.
“The medical aesthetics market is one of the fastest-growing segments in healthcare and wellness, and MSS is its definitive gathering place,” said Rick McConnell, CEO of Trifecta Collective. “We have great respect for the incredible work the AmSpa team has done to build an event that truly puts community first, and we believe our deep trade show expertise is the perfect complement to carry the Medical Spa Show to new heights.”
The acquisition represents Trifecta Collective’s fifth trade show transaction, following purchases of TRANSACT, Canadian Concrete Expo, International Mass Timber Conference and the North American Trailer Dealers Association. It is among several acquisitions announced in recent months, reflecting continued investment and consolidation across the meetings and events industry.
